My goal is to honor people’s full humanity in the stories they choose to share.

We’re all very ridiculous and profound at the same time, so balancing humor and depth is a staple of my work. Some folks call it dramedy — I call it real life.

The first podcast I ever produced debuted in Apple’s Top 50 for Society and Culture.

Since then, I’ve produced and sound designed for two additional chat shows and four narrative podcasts. I’ve mixed episodes featuring high-profile guests like Matthew McConaughey, Brené Brown, Glennon Doyle, and Luvvie Ajayi Jones.

As an audio journalist, I’ve covered stories about musical artists trying to make it in the Nashville music scene, the “real” lives of reality show contestants, entrepreneurs and their business acquisitions, and everyday people’s bravery that often goes unnoticed.

I’ve field-produced drag shows at Jack White’s Third Man Records, and interviewed abortion care activists at the Tennessee capitol. I've also written scripts for podcast hosts, educators, YouTubers, and artists.

Before working in audio journalism, I spent seven years as a copywriter and marketer in the startup world.

Because of this background, I’m particularly skilled at hooking audiences and keeping them engaged. I also have a highly attuned BS meter — both as a journalist and as a producer.

I believe you can create an immersive, emotional experience for listeners that has respect and reciprocity for a story's subjects.

A high school crush once told me that I ask “too many deep questions” and well… some things never change.

Even though I’m sadly more fun holding a mic than partying the night away, I do this work because listening and believing people’s stories is a radical act. Especially in polarized times like today.

Stories hold more power than any list of facts. They change beliefs and cut through.

They are gifts of connection we can offer one another.

Sound like something you’re into?
