MIXING & SOUND DESIGN
This Is Nashville is a live one-hour daily show of WPLN News. I served as This is Nashville’s Technical Director and often helped producers with story editing, production, and sound design. Inside the Council Chambers was a popular, unique segment about Nashville city council members that I story edited and sound designed.
The Story Letter, hosted by award-winning storyteller and author Micaela Blei, is all about how to tell better stories. I produced and sound-designed this 10-episode season, along with this trailer.
NARRATIVE PRODUCTION
This episode is part of an 8-episode season that I wrote, produced and sound designed for the media company, They Got Acquired. I used hours of research and 90-minutes of tape to construct a story about Sam Parr.

FIELD PRODUCTION
I was the on-the-ground narrative producer for two separate events covered in this episode: a Day on the Hill for a Tennessee reproductive rights groups, and a drag show that benefited an abortion care nonprofit. I conducted over 20 sit-down interviews and collected ambi and vox pops from attendees.

Nobody wants to listen to a boring-ass audio ad. So create something interesting. Something worth your audience’s time so they don’t skip ahead. My segue into podcasting was writing and producing audio ads for big brands. Persuasive, engaging storytelling will boost your promotion AND makes your brand more memorable.
